# Visual classroom dashboard — 24 September 2026

The connected dashboard now uses the original Evidence Map visual language: navy navigation, course cards, evidence charts and student cards. It still reads the authenticated shared service. No second database or grade calculation was added.

## Views delivered

- **Overview:** shared roster, eligible Observation / Conversation / Product counts, teacher-confirmed achievement distribution, evidence gaps and students with outcomes to review.
- **Students & outcomes:** student evidence, outcome coverage tiles, achievement, separate support context and teacher-written comments. Unsaved drafts are held in page memory for the exact course/student/outcome and cleared on sign-out.
- **Rubric library:** catalogue drafts distinguished from approved versions; exact-version downloads and explicit teacher approval.
- **Semester & year plan:** the existing 9 MM12, 9 COM11 and 16 IBDS sprint sequence, with links to the daily plan and teaching library. Planning records are not labelled finished lessons.
- **Reporting:** confirmed judgments and comments, school-ID gaps and a standards review CSV. This is not a verified PowerSchool import.
- Existing browser-local planning tools remain accessible at `/planning-tools.html`; they are separate from the live student records.

## Verification

- 32 automated checks passed: 8 dashboard aggregation/export checks plus 24 existing connection and Google checks.
- The deployed preview passed 13 service checks with fictional learners, including explicit judgment, Google progress readback, retry deduplication and authorization boundaries.
- Browser checks passed for student switching, restoring the correct unsaved draft, saving a fictional teacher judgment and preserving support separately.
- Browser-downloaded Truck Ad rubric verified as approved version `2026-09-23.1`, with three criteria.
- Browser-downloaded review CSV contained only confirmed test judgments; it excluded unsaved drafts and support from achievement export.
- Empty Digital Society roster displayed zero students, with no fictional fallback.
- Sign-out cleared the private classroom display and comment fields.
- Desktop, 768 × 1024 and 390 × 844 layouts inspected. A narrow-screen overflow was corrected; final overview and student view both fit a 390-pixel viewport.
- No application-origin browser errors observed. An unrelated browser-extension error was excluded from application results.
- Test evidence and judgments were written only to preview storage. Production was read without creating student judgments.

## Work still outstanding

1. Obtain and review the corrected AI Studio export, then deploy and test the iPad companion, offline retry and exact rubric/session links.
2. Complete the additive raw field-evidence mirror and dynamic rubric publication workflow against the prepared Google tabs. Preserve the installed single router and sync timer.
3. Finish protected voice storage, dictation/transcription review and Gemini draft assistance. The current live service does not provide those features.
4. Add the IBDS roster; review and approve the teaching rubrics. No live rubric was approved automatically during this update.
5. Supply the actual PowerTeacher Score Template, school student numbers and local standard/grade-scale configuration. Verify the school's standards/comment transfer workflow before importing anything.
6. Produce and audit the unfinished semester/full-year teaching packages. The 34 sprints and 332 dated lesson plans do not constitute all workbooks, slides, labs, papers, mocks, IA materials and daily teacher briefings.
7. Rehearse the complete Truck Ad path on a real iPad: lesson → approved rubric → capture → dashboard → Google mirror → teacher-confirmed outcome → reporting review.

The dashboard uses the four local achievement bands and IE. These are not automatic PowerSchool scores or IB predicted grades. Support and evidence volume do not determine achievement.
