# Workbook and PowerTeacher source update

Reviewed September 23, 2026. The two supplied sources refine the existing connected system. Their embedded prompts and historical instructions are reference evidence, not fresh user authorization to replace applications, import grades or change the course plan.

## Workbook source

The supplied [Update Photoshop Tutorial conversation](https://chatgpt.com/share/6ab46105-d168-83ea-9a8f-03c60bf6dbf8) was read in the browser. The current standard is Learning Studio Workbook Standard v2: Drop Day / Fresh Impact instructional quality plus Truck Ad architecture. It is described as a canonical working standard, pending the applicable audits and QA, rather than proof that every package is verified.

Carry forward:

- Authentic brief; Builds On / New Learning / Prepares For; visible Start Here and real assets.
- SELECT → ACTIONS → WHY → CHECK → FIX, with real visual checkpoints and existing step video segments.
- Standard / More Support views in the same workbook: short actions, current layer/tool/step, vocabulary, First → Next → Last, restart points and a help ladder. Keep the assessed learning target intact.
- Restrained dark header with readable light instructional cards and print styles; preserve approved multilingual and Arabic RTL behavior where present.
- Local completion and practice quizzes as learning aids. Sample meaningful O/C/P evidence instead of grading every step; retain changed-brief transfer and bounded reflection.
- Coaching that helps students proceed while preserving assessed decisions and explanations. No coach-generated grades, diagnoses, automatic logging claims or private roster in Gem knowledge.
- The separate IBDS Operation Get a 7 reasoning sequence and 15-section sprint-workbook structure, rather than Photoshop-style steps applied to Digital Society.

The learning sequence should be justified by curriculum and pedagogy. Evidence Map validates coverage and records learning; its dashboard fields must not become the reason for changing a course's curriculum.

The conversation also names Light & Colour Control, Build a Believable Room and Brand Detective. Check their existing assets and fit within the current labs/activities before creating duplicates. No new sprint was added, and the conversation's generated download claims were not treated as completed technical verification.

## PowerTeacher source

The supplied **PowerTeacher_Pro_CSV_Workflow (1).docx** was read in full, including tables and source links; it contains no embedded images or actual CSV template.

Its documented route transfers an assignment score into an existing PowerTeacher Pro assignment. It does not bulk-create assignments. The current Evidence Map review CSV instead contains a teacher's course-outcome judgments across selected evidence. Those records must not be relabelled as assignment scores automatically.

The guide's Percent/Points recommendation is a general example and does not supersede the teacher's confirmed outcome/standards grades with teacher-written comments. The new M## / outcome / evidence / Form-Sub naming pattern remains a proposal for new assignments; existing names and IDs are preserved.

The official documentation was checked: [score import/export](https://ps.powerschool-docs.com/powerteacher-pro/latest/importing-and-exporting-scores), [assignment score types](https://ps.powerschool-docs.com/powerteacher-pro/latest/create-an-assignment), [standards grades](https://ps.powerschool-docs.com/powerteacher-pro/latest/standards-grades), and [comments](https://ps.powerschool-docs.com/powerteacher-pro/latest/enter-scores-and-comments). It does not establish direct CSV import of separate standards judgments and teacher comments for this local setup.

## Changes made

Updated the workbook prompt, AI Studio PowerSchool instructions, reporting handoff, interface metadata and handoff page. The dashboard's review export now explicitly identifies its records as course-outcome judgments, not assignment-score imports. Preserved the 9/9/16 maps, live Google sync, teacher decisions, original Word document and existing workbook files.

## Concrete input still needed

An actual **Export Score Template** from one existing assignment, including any metadata rows, plus that assignment's score-type/grade-scale settings. An anonymized copy can establish the format. Student identifiers must retain their formatting and be replaced consistently when anonymizing. This is required to build and validate the assignment-template adapter; the Word guide alone does not supply the necessary file structure. No PowerSchool grades were imported or changed.
